Not that it was unusual, but I actually made money at a mall. Yes, THE mall!
Have you heard such a thing as survey? It varies from medical survey, individual survey, marketing survey and so on. While at the Broadway mall, Long Island, there was a lady approached me and asked if I could spare my time to do a survey by some movieline marketing company. I asked what the catch was and she said “Two dollars for a five-minute survey” which was not too bad at all. So I agreed to it.
A teenage girl was appointed to ask me a bunch of questions on an upcoming movie that starred Meg Ryan, John Cusack and Kevin Bacon. It looked quite promising although the storyline seemed a little too unpredictable.
Overall, survey can be fun and at the same time it can be somewhat an experience too. In this case, a one-time income — at least for a
free 20-oz cup of soda.
